In this module, I'll guide you step-by-step through conducting your own acoustic assessment, giving you a solid starting point to measure and track your progress. I’ll also introduce you to my favorite apps that help my clients monitor their progress effectively. Additionally, we’ll dive into essential body alignment techniques to support optimal voice production.

In Module 2, we’ll cover practical tips and voice exercises to help you avoid vocal fatigue and hoarseness. I’ll also share some go-to strategies I use to support clients on their gender-affirming voice journey. In this module, I’ll guide you through a variety of exercises to safely lower and establish a new target pitch. We’ll also explore the concept of heavy vs. light vocal weight. Intonation is the rise and fall of pitch in speech. It helps express emotions, signals whether we’re asking a question or making a statement, and adds emphasis to what we’re saying. In this module, you’ll learn how to identify the limits of your pitch range, recognize smooth (legato) versus choppy (staccato) speech patterns, and how to sound expressive while staying within your new target pitch range.
